One couple who attended Adele’s concert at the London O2 arena this week were in for a very special night, for a number of reasons.
Natalie King, from the city, was seeing the show with her boyfriend when he did something special that he had been planning: he popped the question to Natalie. It must have been a special moment in itself, but it only got better when the ‘Hello’ and ‘Rolling In The Deep’ star noticed it from the stage.
Adele saw it happen during her performance of ‘Make You Feel My Love’ and invited the couple onto the stage to share their special moment with the whole of the O2 audience.
She congratulated the couple and engaged in some hilarious conversation with them, asking the pair how long they had been dating for (“you have been going out longer than I have been making music!”) and chatting about their baby boy. Adele said it was “one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed at one of my shows”.
Natalie tweeted that night that she “still can’t believe this just happened – the boy did good”. She also spoke to the controversial British newspaper Mail Online and told them she was “flabbergasted” and “on cloud nine”.
Adele is currently on a European tour that is completely sold out. She is performing six nights at the London O2 Arena located in Canary Wharf. She will then be performing in Glasgow and Birmingham before doing two extra dates at the O2. Adele will also appear in Berlin, Stockholm, Oslo, Cologne and many other cities around Europe.
