UK based mobile network operator O2 has began taking orders for the LG G3, with the handset shipping in the UK from the end of June. The LG G3 can be ordered from the O2 online shop now.
If it’s a free handset you are keen on, the cheapest tariff is £38 per month including unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of monthly 4G data. This can be increased to 5GB or 8GB if necessary. O2 is also offering a cheaper tariff at £28 where customers will have to pay £99 upfront for the phone to get a contract which includes 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 500mb of data. A £33 tariff is also available with an upfront cost of £49.99.
One of the advantages of an O2 tariff is that customers have the option of upgrading their phone before their contract is up. If pay-as-you-go is more appealing, the phone costs £529.99.
The phone is also available at Carphone Warehouse, Three and Buymobilephones.net. It is available on varying tariffs across the stores.
The LG G3 has been released to rapturous applause, with The Independent calling it the ‘best Android smartphone yet’ and Yahoo! calling it ‘the phone to beat this year’.
So, don’t delay and get your hands on the phone of the year!
